What is the goal of the game?
Each player gets 13 cards from a deck of 52 at the start of the game.
The goal of the game is to discard all 13 cards before the rest of your
opponents.

How do I discard the cards?
Each player takes turns to discard cards in clockwise fashion. The
player holding 3 Diamonds starts first as the leader.

The leader gets to decide to discard 1, 2 or 5 cards. 2 cards must be a
pair and 5 cards will follow the suits in a poker game (described
below), except that 2 is the largest card in the game, followed by A, K,
Q, etc where 3 is the smallest.

Subsequent players must discard the same number but greater set of
card(s), or pass his turn. When every player passes, the player who
discarded the top-most set of cards becomes the leader and gets to reset
the number of cards to discard.

What cards can I discard?
As a leader, you may discard a set of 1, 2 or 5 cards. Otherwise, you
must discard the same number of cards or pass your turn.

Power of suits from highest to lowest:
Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds

Power of numbers from highest to lowest:
2, A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3

Set of 1 card:
Any 1 card higher than the topmost card

Set of 2 cards:
Any pair higher than the topmost pair. The card of higher power is
compared if it is the same pair.

Set of 5 cards from highest to lowest:
Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight
Refer to our player guide page for samples of the above sets.

Is a straight of 2, A, K, Q, J accepted?
Yes. If an identical straight is to be discarded, the highest card
(2) will be compared. The same rule applies to a Flush.

Can we discard 3 cards?
No, 3 cards are not allowed in Big 2.5

Why was my gold and experience deducted sometimes when I lose?
A penalty is imposed for players who keep each "2" in their hand when
they lose. Remember to discard them if you think you're going to
lose!

What is the difference between Big 2.5 and Classic Mode?
Big 2.5 is a special variation of Big 2 where special skills can be
used. When playing in this mode, players will get bonus gold and
experience. (if no skills were used in the match, it will still be
considered Classic Mode)

What happens when a player leaves the match halfway?
The player gets a gold/experience penalty, and cards will be withheld
throughout the rest of the match.
